Sadaqah Shield is built and maintained by one person, so replies come from a real human rather than a queue — but they may take a little time. Please include as much detail as you can the first time.
Email support@sadaqahshield.com for anything below. For privacy requests, use privacy@sadaqahshield.com.
Sadaqah Shield does not currently have a self-service password reset. If you are locked out, email support from the address on the account and we will help you regain access manually. A self-service reset is on the roadmap.
If you are still signed in, you can change it in the extension under Settings → Account. If you signed in with Google, your password is managed by Google, not by Sadaqah Shield.
You can delete your account yourself in the extension under Settings → Account. This removes your synced settings, blocked-attempt records, pledge records, and accountability data. Some records may remain briefly in routine provider backups, and completed charitable donations are retained by the donation processor independently of Sadaqah Shield. See the Privacy Policy for detail.
Ask us and you will get one. Email support@sadaqahshield.com from the address on your account and say which charge. There is no qualifying condition. Our full terms of sale and refund policy spells out exactly what we will refund and the one case where we honestly cannot claw money back from a charity.
Turn off automatic charging, or remove your saved payment method, in the extension under Settings. Removing the payment method stops any future charge.
The card charge and the charitable donation are two separate steps, so a charge can complete before its donation does. Sadaqah Shield retries the donation automatically. If it has been more than a few days and your pledge still shows as paid but not donated, email support with the approximate date and amount and we will trace it.
Email support with the date and amount. Duplicate charges, technical errors, and unauthorized transactions are reviewed individually.
Receipts are issued directly by the donation processor to the email address on your account, not by Sadaqah Shield. Check your spam folder first. Because Sadaqah Shield does not collect a legal name, the name on the receipt is derived from your email address.
Email privacy@sadaqahshield.com to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. Send the request from the email address on the account so it can be matched to your records; we may ask a follow-up question to confirm it is you before acting on it.
Never send a password, a full card number, a card security code, or an authentication token by email. Nobody from Sadaqah Shield will ever ask you for any of them.
If you believe you have found a security vulnerability, email support@sadaqahshield.com with enough detail to reproduce it. Please give a reasonable opportunity to fix the issue before disclosing it publicly.
